At HRS Heat Exchangers, an engineering company specialising in the design, manufacture and maintenance of heat transfer solutions, we are looking for a Project Engineer to join our team in Lorquí, Murcia.
🎯 Your mission will be:
To plan, coordinate and deliver engineering projects within the organisation. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards, working closely with cross‑functional teams to achieve successful outcomes.
🧩 Key responsibilities:
• Coordinate with internal teams, contractors and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
• Provide technical support and guidance throughout the entire project lifecycle, ensuring compliance with engineering standards and best practices.
• Monitor budgets, control costs and implement cost control measures.
• Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and client specifications.
• Track project progress, identify potential issues and apply corrective actions where necessary.
• Prepare regular project status reports and communicate progress to stakeholders and senior management.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, schedules, specifications and reports.
• Identify and mitigate risks, anticipating potential challenges and proposing solutions.
• Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of project management processes and tools.
🎓 Profile we are looking for:
• Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical or similar). A Master’s degree will be an advantage.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in engineering or project management.
• Strong knowledge of engineering principles, project management methodologies and related tools (MS Project, AutoCAD, etc.).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly.
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and results-oriented mindset.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies.
• English level B2.

• Working hours are from Monday to Thursday 8:00 to 17:00 and Friday 8:00 to 15:00. Reduced summer working hours in July and August!
