Project Engineer

At HRS Heat Exchangers, an engineering company dedicated to the design, manufacture and maintenance of heat transfer solutions, we are looking for a Project Engineer to join our team in Lorquí, Murcia.

🎯 Your mission:

Plan, coordinate and execute engineering projects within the organisation. You will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards, working closely with cross-functional teams to achieve successful outcomes.

🧩 Key responsibilities:

• Coordinate with internal teams, contractors and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
• Provide technical support and guidance throughout the entire project lifecycle, ensuring compliance with engineering standards and best practices.
• Supervise budgets, monitor expenses and implement cost control measures.
• Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and client specifications.
• Track project progress, identify potential issues and implement corrective actions when required.
• Prepare regular project status reports and communicate progress to stakeholders and management.
• Maintain complete project documentation, including plans, schedules, specifications and reports.
• Identify and mitigate risks by anticipating challenges and proposing effective solutions.
• Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of project management processes and tools.

🎓 The profile we are looking for:

• Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical or similar). A Master’s degree will be an asset.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in engineering or project management.
• Strong knowledge of engineering principles, project management methodologies and related tools (MS Project, AutoCAD, etc.).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly.
• Highly organised, detail-oriented and results-driven.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies.
• English level: B2.
