Multipass Heat Exchangers – HRS MP Series

The HRS MP Series multi tube heat exchanger is the latest innovation from the HRS Product Development Centre, which can be configured to include 2, 3 or 6 passes.

 

Ideally designed for hygienic and industrial applications, the HRS MP Series is a complete stainless steel multi-tube design with multiple passes on the tube side which offers greater flexibility for optimizing fluid velocity, pressure drop and heat transfer rates. The unique design creates longer thermal length within the same module, thus avoiding the necessity for multiple modules and interconnecting bends. These advantages make the MP Series an ideal solution for low to medium viscosity products.

Using HRS corrugated tube technology means that both heat transfer and efficiency are increased compared to standard smooth tube heat exchangers. In addition, potential fouling is minimized. A bellow is fitted to absorb differential expansion between the shell and the inner tube and multiple units can be interconnected. Standard options include frame mounting, insulation and cladding in stainless steel.

  • Satin or Polished

  • Shell side: 147 PSI/365º F
  • Tube side: 147 PSI/365º F
