Gas Cooling Heat Exchangers – HRS G Series
The HRS G Series heat exchanger is a specially designed heat exchanger for gas cooling and thermal energy recovery from exhaust gasses.
Similar in design and operation to the HRS K Series, but with dimensions which have been optimized for exhaust gas cooling applications, the exhaust gasses flow through the interior tubes and the media fluid flows through the surrounding shell.
The G Series has corrugated inner tubes, ensuring higher heat transfer ratios than smooth tube designs. This means that heat exchanger length and pressure drops can be kept to a minimum and fouling is minimized.
An expansion bellow is fitted in the outer shell for absorbing the differential expansion between the shell and the inner tube.
