HRS highlights importance of wastewater treatment at WEFTEC 2019
HRS Heat Exchangers, Booth 8512, WEFTEC 2019
HRS Heat Exchangers will highlight its extensive range of heat exchangers and treatment systems for wastewater and anaerobic digestion at the world’s largest annual water quality exhibition: WEFTEC, when it returns to Chicago, IL this September. In particular, HRS will address the prevention of fouling and how to maximize energy efficiency in water treatment heat exchange solutions.
HRS’ products are used worldwide for a wide range of thermal processes including evaporation, pasteurization, thermal hydrolysis and waste heat recovery in applications including wastewater and sewage treatment, sludge pasteurization and waste management. Its range of scraped surface and corrugated tube heat exchangers are more reliable and longer lasting in operation than other systems commonly employed in water treatment. The range includes the simplest double tube type DTI and DTR Series and the more complex patented Unicus Series of reciprocating scraped surface heat exchangers. It also incorporates numerous other corrugated tube and scraped surface models of heat exchanger, meaning a solution is available for effective treatment of everything from gray water to challenging sludges and digestate.
As well as heat exchangers which can be specified and designed to fit into existing and new wastewater installations, HRS also produces a number of fully packaged systems for the concentration, evaporation and pasteurization of wastewater streams, sludges and digestate. Using proven HRS heat exchanger technology, these systems combine all necessary equipment, including ancillaries such as tanks, pipework, and monitoring and control equipment. These packaged solutions provide operators with complete peace of mind to purchase a fully finished, delivered and installed solution for their water treatment needs.
Matt Hale, International Sales & Marketing Director at HRS Heat Exchangers, comments: “Our extensive range of tubular heat exchangers has been proven in the toughest wastewater environments over many years. This experience has also allowed our engineers to see how customers want to use our heat exchangers in real world situations, and we have used this knowledge to develop complete packaged solutions for the most common applications.”
